Also in the shower, I thought of a way for a laryngectomee to hear better and to talk better. To hear better, wash out your ears. Best done by a professional and have them cut the wild hairs growing there. Now, to speak better, the same is true. Clear your nasal passages or have it done and remove the unwanted hair. You will find you can hear better and breathe better. You will find this process allows for better speech and a happier life style.
It is the Holiday Season get yourself cleaned up, join in the festivities. Using Stoma Care Products especially at this time of year is important and you will find your life style is better and you may start using them all the time. Start the new year with a resolution to use Stoma Care Products daily and make life easier for those around you. No one wants to be near a coughing, messy unkempt person.
With the our Stoma Care Products properly used, you will not stand out in a crowd. You will look like one of the crowd .
We date stamp our products the day they come off the production line. . So you will know your are using fresh Foam Filters. Most products today, have a USE BEFORE DATE stamped somewhere on the outer package. This is good and sometimes hard to find but very useful when dealing with food and medical products.
A date of manufacture is sometimes used to identify the origin of a product. With many companies they have several production facilities in different countries around the World and identify them with a code. All of our products are made entirely in the United States and identified with the date of manufacture.
I came up with a good idea in the shower this morning. Many laryngectomees and their Medical Doctors think the patient uses only one Foam Filter per day. If this is true, How many do you use when a cold is coming starting? What do they wear at night? Do they take off the Foam Filter and wash it, to get rid of the daily debris, prior to going to bed and Low and behold in the morning, find the adhesive didn't stick properly.
Here is where the replacement tape comes to good use. One roll will take care of 30 nights with the assurance that the Foam Filter will stay in place all the night through. After the morning shower you can start the day with a fresh Foam Filter and wear it all day. Your insurance and/or Medicare will pay for the replacement tape.
Remember if you buy your stoma care products from me and include payment with your order, there is no shipping & handling charge. I notice that many of the suppliers charge for shipping and handling, We don't. We have a $5.00 charge for Credit Orders & Credit Card orders because proof of delivery is required if the shipment is lost, strayed or stolen. We cannot collect from the shipper unless we have proof of delivery or a record of the shipment.
I thought about using the USPS Priority Mail service for all of our deliveries. The USPS is about 5 years behind the times with their paper work. At a flat $3.00 delivery charge we could do it for all of our shipments, if we combine the cost of all shipments and average them out. But the lines and the useless paper work that must be done by hand, makes this system unworkable.
